Goods for sale in New Zealand need a Client Code. Freight rating does not change — only the customs identity and paperwork.
At or below NZ$1,000, NZ Customs usually does not collect duty/GST (alcohol/tobacco excepted). Above that, formal entry and 15% GST on value + duty + freight/insurance.
